  1. CYCLING – IT’S AS EASY AS A TO ZEE.
I said I would find you a target for 2010 and whilst your list above is admirable I feel you need some structure and a little direction if you are to achieve your goals.
Throughout my life I have met many interesting people and have collected a list of places and countries that I would love to visit. When I am down the pub or have a couple of hours to myself I start making up the list of 26 countries to visit, one for each letter off the alphabet. My retirement will start with a visit to Aruba, shortly followed by Brazil, etc.
Along similar lines I think you should cycle between UK towns in alphabetical order. I dont expect you to do it in one day, but this will give you 25 journeys to plan for in 2010. Letters such as Q, X and Z may mean that you have to be creative, but with snow now falling it will give you a few days to plan your trips for the coming year.
Perhaps the start point should be the nearest town – Aylesbury – but it is for you to choose in which direction you find a town beginning with B.
If you accept the challenge, I promise to meet you at the final finish line with a bottle of bubbly.
    Good Luck.

  2. Thanks for being the first ever comment.

A good idea although I am not sure about doing it within 2010, but for clarity would this need to be “towns” or are villages included as well (and what is the difference between a town and a village? Furthermore are cities excluded?

Hmmm… Aylesbury, Bedford, Caddington, Dunstable, Eaton Bray…

How about one from each of this list? Bedfordshire Towns
