Need Money Fast?
I have had a comment against my post “Two Loose Nuts” from Dorothea Krahe (an unusual spelling of Dorothy I think) who can be contacted at Muwwakil5512@yahoo.co.uk (clearly Dorothea.Krahe5512@yahoo.co.uk was already taken) who opens her comment with “Sick of getting low numbers of useless visitors for your website?” (calling JobySp “useless” seems harsh to me). She then proceeds to let me know that “i wish to inform you of a new underground tactic which makes me personally $900 on a daily basis on 100% AUTOPILOT. I really could be here all day and going into detail but why dont you simply check their site out?”
Wow! $900 per day. I am going to be rich. Very rich. Rich beyond my wildest dreams. And thanks to Dorothea all I have to is click on the “Auto Traffic Avalanche” hyperlink to a bitly URL…
I Cant Be…
…I mean. I was a DINKY. And being a DINKY seemed fine for a time. Holidays, eating out, cinema, but then things changed. And now with horror I read that I may be a MAMIL (see http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-10965608). I can fight the first M – time is not on my side. A makes me sound like a fine red wine. The second M is a statement – can’t change that. The “IL”, whilst the butt of may jokes, doesn’t bother me. So why when I am categorised as a MAMIL does it seem so wrong?
#July150 to #August150
It seems that I had my calculations wrong on the last post and did manage to do the 150 leisure miles, but woefully less than I should have done. But the good news is that Phill and his PA (Joby) seem to have auto-entered me into the #August150 by stealth. Thanks guys.
Back on the Bike
Just the wrong one.
No weigh days, no bike rides, no #July150 completed, nothing. It’s called summer holidays. The weekends before the holiday work against me and there’s not enough time to do the 62 mile loop to Keysoe. Despite taking two cars camping the absence of a cycle rack of any form means that there’s only enough room for two children’s cycles. Really, it’s not a problem. I have had a week away with no television, computer, phone ringing, just squirrels, horses, and horses poo. So now I am back in Bedfordshire with the knowledge that I am relaxed, and happy, but well behind on the towns I am yet to visit. And the weekends ahead do not look to clever either.
Mr Salter did not make an outing this week as we were about 100 miles apart. So I have the delights of a weigh day to look forward to this week. Hopefully he’ll overlook my minor indiscretions in the Forest Inn, Ashurst.
Still, at least Phill’s got the #August150 for me to look forward to. But perhaps I should do it on something other than the Daisychain?
Strange Things Are Happening…
Ah, one of the soundtracks from Toy Story (the original) is the title of this blog entry. I know this as I get to see parts of the DVD every day, and due to TSIII coming out this week, can’t get away from that Woody for love nor money. It’s also the title of the blog entry due to the lack of cycling, the increase in beer, apathy, and so much more setting in that the blog is becoming more of a non-cycling blog than a cycling one. I’m sure normal service will resume, but with good weather this should be the time for me to hit the saddle mid-week and weekends, but alas is was not to be. So all I can do is pass on the news that I have neither gained nor lost weight (no mean feat considering).
Now, back to Stinky Pete…
Guinness and Birthday Cake
A weekend of cycling, followed by Guinness, birthday cake (and three desserts) and yet Mr Salter wants to be kind to me this week. No change. I stay at 12st 8lb. Perhaps if I only had two desserts I may have lost something?
